Let's Talk About Healthy Aging: Steering Clear of the "F" Words this Winter: Flu and Falls  (2/3)

The St. Paul’s Hospital Community Forums are informal information sessions that provide an opportunity to ask experts about specific issues that may affect patients (and their family members). Each month features a different medical concern and talk about recent advances in treatment and research.

Part 1 – Dr. Jan McElhaney, physician program director for Elder Care Acute Services, and division head of Geriatric Medicine for UBC, Providence Health Care, and Vancouver General Hospital discusses flu, especially as it relates to the older person and specifically addresses H1N1; vaccines, treatments etc.

Part 2 – Dr. Wendy Cook, director of the Fall Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital discusses falls and fall prevention.

Part 3 – The third video is a Q & A session on healthy aging, flu and falls.
